Baiting Hollow Scout Camp is owned and operated by the Suffolk County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  Serving Scouting for over 81 years.  Located on the North Shore of Long Island the camp has a freshwater lake and beachfront on the shore.  Offering year round camping and programs to Boy Scouts, Cub scouts, Venturing Crews and their families.  The Camp offers swimming, sailing, boating water skiing, climbing, shooting sports, crafts, nature studies, scout craft and much more.

Spring Camp Information Available Here!

A week of camp with all the excitement of summer camp just a little earlier. Come with your troop or join our provisional troop. There will be merit badge classes and open time activities. Merit badges offered as of the time of this printing include Mammals, Environmental Science, Nature, Astronomy, Rifle, Archery, Camping, Cooking, Pioneering, Energy Orienteering, Basketry, Indian lore, Leatherwork, Home Repairs, Fire Safety, Citizenship in the community, Citizenship in the Nation, Fingerprinting, Fishing, and several more.Baiting Hollow Offers Year Round Programs

A Full Offering of Summer Activities are available at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp

Both Site and Cabin Camping are offered during the non-summer months for both Troops and Packs

Baiting Holloween is a favorite Halloween Event for Young and old.

Winter Camp is held each winter during the schools winter break period to work on merit badges and other scout skills. Camping is in Cabins.

Spring Camp is held during spring Break to give Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts a jump on the coming year.  Cub Camp is a day camp program and Scout Camp is overnight camping in Cabins.
